Purchase terms

The ALTAU 60 cm drum can be purchased ready-made or made after payment. The set includes the drum, a leather case, three beaters and a passport. Large drums are sold after they have been made; availability and price relate to a particular instrument. Archived drums are not offered for sale.

The 60 cm set costs €6,050, including 21% VAT. The final VAT amount is calculated according to the delivery country. Delivery is charged separately. The website form sends an enquiry to the workshop. Before payment, we confirm in writing the selected instrument or making terms, the contents of the set, the total price and taxes, the payment method and terms (bank transfer or Stripe payment link), and the delivery timeframe and cost. Delivery is agreed for the specific address; dispatch from Russia or Spain is possible. Customs costs and how they are paid, where applicable, are stated before the order is agreed. Keep your order confirmation.

Submitting the form does not take payment or oblige you to pay for an order.

Returns and the instrument’s condition

For a distance purchase, a consumer may withdraw from the purchase of a standard product within 14 calendar days of receipt. Write to ms@altau.art with your decision and identify the order. The product must then be returned within 14 days of your notice. The buyer bears the direct cost of return shipping; its cost or an estimate for the selected delivery is provided before payment.

We refund payment, including the cost of standard initial delivery, within 14 days of the withdrawal notice. The refund may be withheld until the product or evidence of its dispatch has been received. An additional charge for a more expensive initial delivery method is not refunded. A reduction in value may be taken into account for handling beyond what is necessary to check the product’s properties and operation.

Making a standard drum after payment does not itself remove the right of withdrawal. For an instrument made to individual specifications or clearly personalised, an exception may apply only under the relevant conditions, which are explained before payment.

If the instrument is damaged or does not match the order, contact the workshop. In Spain, statutory liability for lack of conformity in new goods covers defects that become apparent within three years of delivery. Mandatory consumer rights, including applicable rights in your country of residence, remain in place.

Withdrawal notice

You may email ms@altau.art: “I give notice of withdrawal from the purchase of [instrument / order number]. The order was received on [date]. Buyer’s name and address: […]. Date: […].” This form is optional; an unambiguous statement is sufficient.

Privacy

The data controller is Mariia Surtaeva. Contact details and address are given above; for questions about your information, write to ms@altau.art.

Enquiries and subscriptions

The enquiry form collects the name, reply contact, country and message you provide. We use them to reply and discuss a purchase, delivery or the instrument’s story. The legal basis for purchase enquiries is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract. For other enquiries, it is our legitimate interest in replying to your message. An enquiry does not subscribe you to updates.

For updates about available drums and rare large sizes, we save your email, selected language, subscription time, form page and evidence of consent. The legal basis is your voluntary consent.

Retention and recipients

Enquiry data is retained while needed to reply and agree an order. Order data is then kept for mandatory accounting periods and the protection of legal claims. A subscription email is used until consent is withdrawn; minimal evidence of withdrawal may be retained to avoid restarting messages without new consent.

Cloudflare provides the website and private form storage. If you choose email or a messenger, the corresponding communication service also processes the data. We do not sell contacts or automatically publish enquiries or owners’ stories. Providers’ international infrastructure may involve processing outside the EEA; applicable contractual safeguards are described in Cloudflare’s data processing agreement.

Umami visitor statistics are collected without cookies. Form fields, emails, telephone numbers and messages are not sent to it. It is used to understand website visits; the legal basis is our legitimate interest. You can switch statistics off in your browser below.

Your rights

You can request access, correction, deletion, restriction of processing and data portability, object to processing based on legitimate interests, or withdraw consent. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing. Write to ms@altau.art. You may also contact the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos or the competent authority where you live. We do not make automated decisions determining purchase terms from your data.
